COMPLETION OF PLANS IN AUSTRALIA INDUSTRY TO BE MOBILISED IN EMERGENCY. PRODUCTION OF AMMUNITION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day. 11.0 a.m.) DEVONPORT, This Day. The Federal Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) announced that extensive plans had been completed by the Commonwealth Government to ensure the prompt delivery of defence supplies and the immediate mobilisation of industry in an emergency. An industrial advisory panel appointed last year would undertake immediately a complete review of the supply and works aspects of the defence programme.

Mr Lyons also announced that under the scheme which the Government adopted for the production of ammunition. nineteen annexes would be established at private factories and State railway workshops.
