MR T. MCCRACKEN
RETIRING FROM BUSINESS.
THIRTY-THREE YEARS SPENT IN MASTERTON.
Mr T. McCracken, one of the bestknown Masterton business men, and a partner of the firm of Rew and McCracken, .furniture and cabinetmakers, is to retire shortly. Mr McCracken founded the firm in Queen Street thirty-three years ago and while building up and developing his business he has seen many changes in Masterton. For the past 20 years, he has been in partnership with Mr W. G. Rew, and on his retirement to live in Wellington, his interest in the firm will be carried on by his two sons, Messrs T. R. McCracken and L. G. McCracken. Although he did not take any active part in local body or other affairs, Mr McCracken has always had the welfare of the town at heart and in a quiet way has done a great deal of good work. He thanks his customers for their support and trusts that the same measure of patronage will be accorded his partner and his sons.
