MASTERTON ACTIVITIES. A meeting of the Masterton W.C.T.U. was held on Thursday afternoon in the Methodist Hall and was presided over by Miss Tankersley, who was welcomed to the chair at the commencement of the meeting. Mrs Jansen lea the devotions.

After the tea interval the hostesses were arranged for the ensuing three months.

At the Dominion Convention to be held in Wellington in March, the Union will be represented by Mrs N. Miller. The report in connection with the Convention is to be given at the April meeting.

A Paddy’s Market is to be held in March, the date and further details being left to the members to arrange at the March meeting.

An invitation was extended by Mrs H. Speight to hold an At Home on Frances Willard Day, February 16, at her home No. 7 Johnston Street, Masterton, when extracts from the life of the founder of W.C.T.U. will be read. It was decided to take up a collection at this special meeting.
