The chemist had set his new assistant the job of writing out cards for the window display, and half an hour later he came along to inspect the job. “What do you think of that, sir?” inquired the youth, holding up a card. The chemist read, and uttered an exclamation of annoyance. “You idiot!" he hissed. “Read that again and think —if you can. What do you mean by writing 'Try Smothers’ Cough Cure —lt’s the Best —You'll Never Get Better!”
