HONOUR FOR BELGIAN DOCTOR SENTENCED TO DEATH AFTER WAR FOR CO-OPERATION WITH GERMANS. DEMONSTRATION AGAINST GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.55 p.m.) BRUSSELS, February 2. A demonstration in which the Premier, M. Spaak, was hurt followed on the Government’s appointment to the Royal Flemish Academy of Dr Martens, who was sentenced to death after the war for co-operation with the Germans. There were scenes in Parliament regarding the matter, after which a vote of confidence was passed in the Government by 88 votes to 86. There were seven abstentions.
