TARARUA RIFLE CLUB.

TROPHY COMPETITION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Tararua Rifle Club held a competition on Saturday for a trophy donated by Messrs G. H. Perry, Ltd. (Masterton). The day was bright and sunny with a slight north-west wind blowing just enough to make it interesting. As one or two of the shooters left before the match was finished the shoot-off between the four top scorers will be fired at the next club

The Tararua A team to fire in the triangular match against Alfredton and Kaiparoro on the home range next Saturday will be as follows: C. Rasmussen, P. Berry, J. P. Petersen, N. Petersen, C. Sigvertsen, F. Sigvertsen. G. Day and J. Day. The Tararua B team to meet Alfredton and Kaiparoro B teams at Kaiparoro next Saturday will be: S. Blewett, W. J. Manser, R. Farrow, W. Drysdale. K. Daysh, R. Thomasen, J. Sigvertsen and J. P. Sigvertsen.
