LIBRARY RENOVATED. (“Times-Age” Special.) The lending library which has been reorganised is now ready to be opened on Wednesday at 2 p.m. The library has been thoroughly renovated, the shelves painted and rearranged, and with the suitable furniture is an attraction to the town. ) Tennis Match. Pirinoa played Kahutara over the weekend at Kahutara, the match resulting in a win-for the Kahutara Club. Personal Items. Mrs E. Hodder, Kimbolton, is visiting Mrs Harvey for a few days. Mrs Cumpsty, who has been visiting Kahutara, has returned to her home in Auckland. Dance and Euchre Party. A dance and euchre party was held at Kahutara on Saturday night. The winners of euchre were: —Ladies: Mrs Matinga, 1; Mrs Rangi, 2. Men: Mr Ackerman, 1; Mr Thompson, 2. RIFLE CLUB COMPETITION. DONALD TROPHY AND McGILL SHIELD. The following were the scores in the competition for the R. Donald trophy and McGill Shield: — 800yds. 200yds. Total.
