Mr Sigvertsen has asked that access be opened up to his section on the Mangatakato Road. This matter will be attended to as soon as a grader is available.
Exhibition of Diving. A special event of interest at the Eketahuna Carnival next Saturday afternoon will be the appearance in exhibition dives of Mr Norman Dyer, the noted Australian diver, who has recently been entertaining and thrilling Wellington crowds by his spectacular feats in the harbour, when he dived off the bridge of the Rangatira, and also at the baths. Mr Dyer is a very talented diver who is likely to perform dives never before seen in the Wairarapa, so that a visit to the Eketahuna carnival should be worth while on this account alone. No Cricket. On account of the Pahiatua races on Saturday no championship cricket matches were played.
