In hot weather, if you- pour freshlydelivered milk into a large jug Which has been heated with boiling water it will keep svVeet for many hours.
To bring out all the dirt when washing towels, add a teaspoonful of vinegar to the boiling water. It will make the towels look much fresher. .
When washing baby you will find it a good p’jn to have a pair of mitts made of soft towelling, with elastic at the wrists, tb wear, for these soap and wash baby better than a gripped flannel, and also allow you the full use of both hands.
In summer, when using jelly, dissolve it in three tablespoonfuls of boiling water and make it up to the pint with cold water. This mixture will set quickly even in the warmest weather.
Next time you are whipping cream, add' a pinch of salt to it. The cream will become thick very, quickly. Be sure after adding the salt to finish whipping the cream in the open air.
Milk puddings will be delightfully creamy if a generous pinch of oatmeal is added to the milk before cooking.
