CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m., and at Kopuaranga at 11 a.m. The Rev T. V. Pearson will preach at St Matthew’s at 11 a.m., and at 7 p.m. the vicar will preach on "These Barbarous Times,” dealing with the Christian attitude- to the world situation. Evening services will be held also at Kuripuni and Upper Plain.

At the Methodist Church tomorrow, the Rev Frederick J. Parker will resume his ministry after his holiday in Auckland. The morning subject will be, ‘This Old-fashioned Thing Called Sin,” while in the evening the topic will be, “Does God Really Guide Us Today?”

At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow, Pastor C. H. Skuse will preach at both services, the subjects being: “Discovering Diamonds in the Dust” and “Forgiveness—What About It?”

The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Mahaffie. In the morning service Major Mahaffie’s subject will be. "Christ as a Perfect Keeper.” and in the evening, "The Gospel of Salvation.”
