AHIARUHE-PONATAHI MEETING. Programmes for the annual sports meeting of the Ahiaruhe-Ponatahi Sports Club to be held on the Carterton showgrounds on Saturday, February 18, are now available, and may be obtained free on application to Mr L. H. Smart, honorary secretary, Carterton. Prize money in the horse events has been further increased to 455, 255, 15s and 5s in each event. The medley competition has been deleted, and an apple bobbing competition added. The programme in addition to horse events includes children's pony events, dancing, piping, baby show, guessing, sheaf tossing, etc.
