THEFT OF FUNDS
CHARGE AGAINST UNION SECRETARY. REMAND AT GREYMOUTH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, This Day. In the Magistrate’s Court, William Pendlebury, aged 40, former secretary of the State Miners’ Union, was remanded until Monday on a charge of the theft of £42 8s lOd, the property of the Union. It is understood that further charges are pending.
