NOT A GAME
SWIMMING PERMITTED ON SUNDAYS. EDUCATION BOARD DECISION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. This morning, by nine votes to two, the Canterbury Education Board virtually decided that swimming is not a game and that it is permissible for swimmers to use school baths on Sundays. However, by a motion passed by the board, tennis players and others will not be able to use school grounds for the purpose of playing games on Sundays.
