Following on Fall of Barcelona BAN ON COMMUNISM AND POPULAR FRONT By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) ROME. January 26. It is understood that Signor Mussolini is desirous of a FourPower Conference after the fall of Barcelona, the aims of which would be:— Firstly, sparing further bloodshed in Spain. Secondly, the establishment of the position of the Spanish people as masters of their own destiny, with the consent of Germany and Italy. Lastly, an English, French, German and Italian agreement, to prevent re-establishment of any Communistic or Popular Front in Catalonia.
