GERMAN TRAWLERS
ORDERED HOME FROM NORWAY. WANTED FOR PATROL SERVICE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, January 24. The Hammerfest (Norway) correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that 12 German trawlers have been ordered home for patrol service. The owners have been advised that a further 90 large trawlers, built with the help of a Government subsidy, will be mounted with gun£. They will be needed for patrol duty, in the next three months.
