TENNIS TOURNAMENT. (“Times-Age” Special.) A,n enjoyable Yankee tennis tournament was held during the week-end in ideal weather on the Domain courts. Dickens and family, who have been visiting relatives in Hamilton. have returned home. Miss T. Fowlds, who has been on a visit to Mrs W. Edmonds, has returned to Feilding. Mr and Mrs Shirtcliffe and family, of Oamaru, who have been touring the North Island by caravan, were visitors to Alfredton during the week-end. Mrs E. Seymour, Mr Bruce Galbraith and Master Seymour have returned to Alfredton from a holiday spent in Napier. A local resident, Mr. Hylton George, who was a at the Bideford Sports, on Saturday, was successful in winning the points prize for horse events la rose bowl) presented by the late Mrs Cockburn-Hood, and the Wrigley Cup for maiden hunters.
