BOMBER MISSING
SIX PERSONS ABOARD CRASH IN CHANNEL FEARED. DESTROYERS JOIN IN SEARCH. (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, January 24. A Royal Air Force bomber, with six persons aboard, is many hours overdue in a south coast flight. The plane is believed to have crashed in the Channel. Destroyers from Portsmouth have joined in the search.
