GUNS IN AIRCRAFT
SOLUTION OF PROBLEMS IN BRITAIN ALL OTHER COUNTRIES OUTSTRIPPED. ACCORDING TO MINISTER. (British Official Wireless., RUGBY. January 23. Speaking about gun turrets for military aircraft, the Air Minister, Sir Kingsley Wood, who visited a Surrey factory today, said that British manufacturers had succeeded in solving the problems connected with the operation of guns in high-speed aircraft.
He added that Britain had outstripped all other countries in the design of mechanically operated gun turrets.
