OBITUARY
MR FRANCES EDWIN TRUSCOTT. f The death occurred suddenly yesterday at the Masterton hospital of Mr Francis Edwin Truscott of 62 Worksop Road, Masterfon. The late Mr Truscott had not been in the best of health for some time and suffered a seizure from which he failed tb rally. He was born in Ceylon, 53 years ago; the son of the late Captain John Parslow Truscott, a sea captain of the early days. The late Mr Truscott had resided.in Masterton for 38 years. In his younger days he was a keen hockey player and also took part in tennis and cricket. He was of a retiring disposition, and was very, popular • with his work mates. Recently he had been working on {he new Presbyterian Sunday School building. . ■<„ His is survived by a widow and one daughter, Miss Mary Truscott, of Masterton, and two sisters Miss Bessie Truscutt and Mrs R. G. Dixon, of Welling-. ton. . The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving St Matthew’s Church' at the conclusion of a service commencing at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
