ELIMINATION MATCH. MANAWATU BEATS NELSON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NELSON, January 24. In the Hawke Cup elimination cricket match, Manawatu beat Nelson by 342 runs. Manawatu declared with seven wickets down for 357, leaving Nelson 503 runs to get.
Nelson in their second innings, made IGI (Wilds 37, Vass 48, McGirr 21, Glover 20 not out. Pritchard five for 51. Gallichan. four lor 43).
