THE BLOWFLY PEST
BLUE A REPELLANT COLOUR The theory that blue is a repellant colour to blowflies seems to have some foundation in fact. An Australian sheep farmer who has been experimenting says that since painting his kitchen blue no blowflies have been seen in it.
