NEW ZEALAND POLICY
EXTOLLED BY CANADIAN POLITICIAN. COMMONWEALTH FEDERATION MEMBER. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. OTTAWA, January 19. In the House of Commons, New Zealand was extolled as an example to Canada by Mr M. C. Coldwell, a Commonwealth Federation member. He said pensions, increased wages, shorter hours and guaranteed farm prices showed what a Government could do. He urged the admission to Canada of a stipulated number of Jewish refugees, declaring that New Zealand leads there too.
