EKETAI4UNA SALE. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: At our weekly sale yesterday we yarded just on 1000 lambs before a fair attendance of local buyers. Contrary to the pluvious sales at this centre, best lambs sold well whilst medium and cull sorts were inclined to be cheaper. Wo quote sales as follows: — B.f. Lambs. —Medium rape lambs. 14/4, 12/9 to IJ/3; small do., 10/-. 9/2; cull do., 8/- to 6/6.
W.f. Wether Lambs: Av. R. Harcornbe, good shorn, 13/7; ac. B. Wright Estate, do.. 12'6; small woolly do.. 9/-, 8/-; cull, shorn. 5/9. 6/0 to 7/0; woolly 5/-, 8/-.
.Ewe Lambs: Small woolly, .15'10, 15/6, 14/7 to 14/6; do., shorn, 13/6, 12/6; cull do., 10/-, 8/6.
