INTER=HOUSE ACTIVITY
ASSOCIATION TO BE FORMED. Following a preliminary meeting last Monday, arrangements have now been made for a general meeting of representatives of business houses tonight in the Toe H Rooms to consider the question of the formation of a Wairarapa Inter-house Association. The suggested programme of such an organisation will include the promotion of a big sports meeting and drill display on the first Saturday in March at Memorial Park and the provision □f assistance generally to the encouragement of sport among staffs of the business houses in the district. In ihort, the association hopes to promote, particularly by athletic activities, friendly yet competitive relationships among the business employees of the Wairarapa.
Principals of all businesses are particularly invited to tonight’s meeting as well as staff representatives. In other districts throughout New Zealand such inter-house associations as the one planned locally have achieved great success, and if tonight’s meeting ;s successful the Wairarapa Association will have a good beginning. The meeting is at 7 p.m. in the Toe H rooms. Perry Street.
