GLADYS MONCRIEFF
HER MAIN WISH FOR 1939. Gladys Moncrieff, popular Australian singer, says that her main wish for 1939 is that everyone will enjoy good health. This is her wish for herself as she is still suffering from a broken ankle as the result of her motor accident. “Then I would like lots of work and at the end of the year a good holiday,” she said. One of Gladys Moncrieff’s first engagements, following her recovery from a serious motor accident, will be a radio tour of New Zealand early this year.
