DAIRY PRODUCTION
MEETING OF MAURICEVILLE DIRECTORS. ("Times-Age” Special.) Mr V. K. Lemberg presided at the monthly meeting of the directors of the Mauriceville Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, held at Mauriceville on Friday. The affairs of the company continue to be most satisfactory. The output for December showed an increase of over seven tons on the. previous December, and the quality is still maintained at a high level. For some months all butter has graded 94 and over —the average being well over 941 with numerous grade notes at 95. When the new guaranteed price came out for the season, this company led the way in the Wairarapa, with a fourteen pence advance which has been consistently kept going. With the advance for December supply still at fourteen pence for “finest,” the paysheet amounts to no less than £16,633, and cheques for this amount will be in the hands of suppliers by the 18th inst.
The manager reported the plant to be in first class order and everything running smoothly.
