SIX TEAMS STILL UNBEATEN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. January 16. The Now Zealand Bowling Association's championship tournament was continued this afternoon, when the fifth and sixth rounds of the fours event, were held. In the sixth series of games, the wind rose to gale force. Altogether it was a trying day for competitors. with the weather so inconsistent..

Six rounds cut of the eight to be played are now out. of the way and. given a favourable day tomorrow, the final two rounds of section play will be played. There are now six unbeaten fours, compared with 67 after the first day’s play and 15 after the second day’s play. The six unbeaten teams at the end of today’s play were: Myers (Avondale), Piper (Maitai. Nelson), R. Thomas (Mt Albert), Franks (Balmoral), Engebretsen (Wanganui), and Montgomery (Auckland). Before the sixth round, there were 11 teams without loss, but the following five combinations suffered losses in the last round today: Rolls (Featherston), Do Launay (Carlton), E. W.
