“KEEP FIT WEEK”

ORGANISATION IN MASTERTON. MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT. Keen interest is being shown by sporting, educational and musical organisations in the “Keep Fit Week,” which it is proposed to hold in Masterton from February 18 to 25, and a large attendance is anticipated at the meeting called by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, for tomorrow night in the Municipal Social Hall at 8 p.m. At that meeting it is intended to set up a representative working committee to organise a comprehensive programme of events, lectures and demonstrations to be spread over the week. It is hoped that the project, fathered by the Minister of Internal Affairs, will be taken up enthusiastically in Masterton. and that a most successful week will be arranged.
