(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

WELLINGTON, This Day.

Sports bodies are to receive financial aid for displays throughout the centennial year to help raise funds. The Government has approved of a special £5OOO alluvial gold art union, commencing on February 20, and closing on March 25. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Parry) said today that sports bodies should not have difficulty in raising large funds in the interest of their further development, and from which to draw for the Centennial activities.
