MIXTURE OF RACES

IN PROGRESS SINCE DAWN OF MANKIND ACCORDING TO GERMAN ANTHROPOLOGIST. SUGGESTIVE DISCOVERY IN CHINA. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received This Day, 9.15 a.m.) PEKING, January 15.

The well-known German anthropologist. Professor Weidenreich, has dealt a blow to theories of racial purity by revealing details of the so-called Peking man fossils. Seven skulls, found in a cave at Choukoutien and belonging to a family that lived 100,000 years ago, show three distinct racial types —Melanesian, Eskimo and Neanderthal, thus indicating that races have mixed since the dawn of mankind.
