The well-known German anthropologist. Professor Weidenreich, has dealt a blow to theories of racial purity by revealing details of the so-called Peking man fossils. Seven skulls, found in a cave at Choukoutien and belonging to a family that lived 100,000 years ago, show three distinct racial types —Melanesian, Eskimo and Neanderthal, thus indicating that races have mixed since the dawn of mankind.
