DETENTION IN SAN SEBASTIAN.

Jerram (British Agent at Burgos) has secured permission from Burgos to interview Mr and Mrs Ernest Golding in the San Sebastian prison. VISIT TO PRISONERS. INFORMATION AS TO CHARGES
STILL LACKING. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.20 a.m.) RUGBY, January.il. Information was received tonight that Mr Jerram had visited Mr Golding in the Ondaretta Prison and Mrs Golding and Senora •Lagarde, a clerk, in the San Sebastian Vice-Consulate, who are in a women’s hostel used for female prisoners. They stated that they had no complaint to make of their treatment while under detention. An answer is still awaited to the written communication Mr Jerram delivered at Burgos, asking to be informed of the charges and the evidence upon which Mr and Mrs Golding are detained.
