DETAILS OF YESTERDAY’S SALES.

The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday:—

GOLD MINING RETURNS, ■ White’s Electric gold dredge reports a return of 40 ounces for the week ended December 24. The directors of Wellington Allttvials Ltd., in their progress report for the four weeks ended December 10, state

that the dredge worked 560 hours, handling 273,000 cubic yards, and recovered bullion estimated to contain 847 ounces of fine gold.

Four weeks' return of Mataki Junction for Decembei’ 15 with November return shown in parentheses was, hours dredged 522 (52-), yards dealt with 77,000 (80,000); gold 2270 z (217) of the value of £1749 (£1670); working cost £940 (£941).

Barrytown Gold Dredging return for December compared with that of November, in parentheses, was as follows: Smelted gold 5230 z (589); value £4250 (£4750); cost £2300 (£2300); hours worked 450 (502); yards, dredged 232,000 (260,000). Mount Morgan production for six weeks ended December 28 with production for four weeks ended November 16, shown in parentheses, was as follows:—Ore mined tons 95,932 (67,239); ore treated, tons, sulphide 47,500 (32,000) and oxidised 46,820 (34,310); production estimated gold ozs. 8529 (5476); copper, tons 307 (174).
