SALES AT SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY. January 9. At the wool sales today 11.323 bales were offered and 10,070 sold, also 745 privately. Competition was well sustained from Yorkshire and the Continent, with moderate support from Australian mills and Japan. Greasy merino made to 7d. The average price of wool in Sydney last week was £l3 Is 10d a bale, or 10.7 d.
