OBITUARY

CONSTABLE R. CHURCH. The death occurred at bis residence. Masterton. today of Constable Robert Church, who had been seriously ill for the past eight months. He was the youngest son of Mrs Mary Church and the late Mr Andrew Church, of Hawera.

The late Constable Church, who was only 28 years of age. 'had been stationed a' Masterton for several years past, and his efficiency, courtesy and genial nature made for him a twst of friends, who will learn with, deep regret of his death, and will extend very sincere sympathy to his widow and young child. The late Constable Church was a keen sportsman, and for a season played Rugby for the Red Star senior team He was also interested in wrestling
