SKIERS BURIED
CAUGHT BY AVALANCHE IN ALPS

The Paris correspondent of “The Times” says that an avalanche on the Grand Galiber, near Grenoble, fatally buried eight skiers, including the Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the French Senate.
Search parties, working at the risk of their lives under a mass of overhanging snow, have recovered five bodies.
