NEW YEAR TOURNAMENT.

FINAL WON BY MASTERTON.

A Masterton club four skipped by E. Reid beat a Greytown four, skipped by Higgison (16-10), in the final of the Wairarapa New Year bowling tournament on the Masterton club's green on Saturday afternoon. The semi-final, played earlier in the afternoon, was between Reid's rink and another Masterton rink, skipped by Christian, and the score was 23-10. The standard of bowling was high, on a green that played perfectly. The teams were: The winners, P. Trevorrow. A. Chapman, A. Stubbings, E. Reid (s); Greytown.
