NEW ZEALAND’S POLICY
CONSIDERATION BY BRITISH MANUFACTURERS. THREATS IN BIRMINGHAM. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, January 8. The Federation of British Industries is considering New Zealand's import restrictions. The Birmingham Chamber of Commerce foresees strong representations by the British Government. The secretary of the Birmingham Manufacturers’ Union says it can hardly be expected that, the British people will buy products from New Zealand when the latter bans British manufactures.
