The Australian and New Zealand Scout Jamboree ended last night, when there were remarkable farewell scenes. Ten thousands Scouts linked arms and danced back and forth in the arena, singing “Auld Lang Syne.” In all, 110,000 people visited the Jamboree during its duration. The New Zealand contingent remains in camp for some days. The first party sails on January 13, and the second contingent a week later.
