A Greytown visitor to Pahiatua is Mrs K. Lilly. Mrs Lord, Essex Street, Masterton, is a visitor to Wellington. Miss Mclntosh, Wellington, is visiting Mrs Carey, Lansdowne. Mrs C. McCardle, of Pahiatua, is spending a holiday in Christchurch.
Mrs M. D. McGregor, of Masterton, is spending the summer months in Auckland.
Mrs J. H. Handyside, of Masterton, has returned from a visit to Paraparaumu Beach. Misses P. Moran and M. Moran have returned to Pahiatua after a holiday spent in Tauranga.
Mrs J. Sampson, of Cole Street, Masterton, has returned from a holiday spent in Napier. Mrs Smith, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs L. Moore, Cole Street, Masterton.
Miss I. Jury, Martinborough, is staying with Mrs Denton, at Paraparaumu Beach.
Mrs L. G. Reed, of Lansdowne, is spending a week in Wanganui with her parents, Mr and Mrs C. Savage. Mrs Ramsden, Cole Street, Masterton, is staying with Mrs H. Beetham, Paraparaumu Beach. Miss Nicholls, Wellington, is staying with her sister, Mrs C. G. Monro, King Edward Street, Lansdowne.
Mr and Mrs W. Hoar and Mrs F. Watson, of Masterton, have returned from Castlepoint where they spent a holiday. Mrs Gerald Mawley, who has been visiting Mrs F. E. Chalmers, Lett Street, Lansdowne, has returned to Wellington.
Mr and Mrs C. Savage, of Wanganui, after having spent Christmas and New Year with Mrs Reed, Lansdowne, returned home yesterday.
Mrs A. Stewart and Mrs RolfeSmith, Whangarei, are the guests of Mr and Mrs C. Holmwood, “Bushcroft,” Masterton.
The Misses Cameron, Cole Street, Masterton, have returned from a visit to Mr and Mrs D. Cameron, “Moeraki,” Hinakura.
Miss Mary Smith, who has been spending a holiday with Miss M. Mawley, “Bagshot,” Masterton, has returned to her home at Johnsonville.
Miss Phyllis Trapp, of the staff of the Dannevirke District High School, is staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs H. B. Trapp, “Richmond,” Carterton.
Miss Molly Bannister, Masterton, who has been staying in Napier with Mrs A. M. Williams, is spending a few days in Dannevirke before returning home.

The engagement is announced of Kathleen Georgina, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs W. J. Kincela, “Manildra,” Martinborough, and Edmund Stephen, younger son of Mr and Mrs J. Pattison, Clydebank, Wairoa. HODDER—OSBORNE. The engagement is announced of Gladys, only daughter of Mrs Osborne, Featherston, to Hector Vivian, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Percy Hodder, Lincoln Road, Carterton.
