LONDON’S SHIPPING
During the week ended December 2. 918 vessels, representing 972,408 net register tons, used the Port ol London. Of these 468 vessels (775.555 net register tons) were io'and from Empire and foreign ports and 450 vessels (196,85.3 net register tons) were engaged in coastwise traffic. The arrivals included five meat cargoes. viz., four from Australia, and one from New Zealand, comprising 408.000 careases of lamb and mutton, 18.000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork, rabbits and sundries.
Eighteen timber laden vessels docked m the Surrey Commercial and India and Millwall Docks with 27.000 tons of softwood.
