Recalling a similar discovery in the western district of Victoria before the war, Mrs Hodges, of Cardiff, found layers of fine gold in the lower teeth of a sheep’s head which she was stewing. The sheep had been accustomed to graze on Llanishen golf links, and a lost ring or cuff link is suggested as the cause.
