Confessing that Japan faces a critical situation unprecedented in her annals, the Premier, Baron Hiranuma, issued a statement after his first Cabinet meetin which he said: “As regards the China incident, Cabinet will pursue the policy of its predecessor. The entire national resources should be concentrated on the attainment of Japan’s objective.”
