NOT LIKELY TO START BEFORE SEPTEMBER STATEMENT BY AUSTRALIAN MINISTER. RADIO AND METEOROLOGICAL SERVICES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. The Minister of Civil. Aviation (Mr H. V. C. Thorby) has issued a statement that there is little 'likelihood of the Tasman air mail service being inaugurated before September or October. It seemed unlikely, he said, that the ground organisation, including radio and meteorological services, could be fully installed and tested before that time.
