Mr and Mrs Jack Holland, of Lower Hutt, visited Martinborough for the holidays. Miss June Westbury, of Wellington, was the guest of Mr and Mrs E. C. Evans during the holidays. The friends of Mr A. O. Pike, of the Post Office stall', will regret to learn that he is a patient in the Tiri Hospital. Mrs Hardinge is visiting her son, Mr H. Hardinge. The Rev and Mrs Ball have left on a motor tour of the South Island. They will return at the end of the month. Miss Kathleen Hill, of Wellington, is visiting her parents at Bush Gully,' Hinakura. Miss Elsie Feist has taken a position with Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co, Ltd. Masterton. A farewell was given her by the Presbyterian Bible Class at the Manse on Sunday night. Mis Ngaire McLaren, of Bush Gully, returned on Saturday from a health holiday in Australia. Mr Clempson, of Christchurch, who is an uncle of Mrs A. Aitchison, Kitchener Street, has been the guest of his niece for several days. Mrs Christie, of Dunedin, is the guest of Mr and Mrs L. Harris, of Dyerville. Mr and Mrs Stunnell have been the guests of Mr and Mrs H. Haycock.
