PERSONAL ITEMS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mesdames A. Young, Hall. Robertshaws, Hayman, Lucena, Misses C. Gambrill, Plimmer and Moat were among Wellington visitors at the Tauherenikau races yesterday. Mr and Mrs Arthur Trengrove, Wellington, are the guests of Mr and Mrs Stewart Reid, Kahutara. Dr and Mrs Stout, Wellington, are visitors to Kahutara. Mr and Mrs lan Carly on were Wellington visitors to Featherston for the weekend. Miss Esther Barry, Dunedin, is visiting her home for the holidays. Miss Joan Scott, Hawera, is visiting Featherston and is the guest of Miss Nancy Hatton. Rimutaka Deviation. An erstwhile resident of Featherston, who is spending the holidays here, and is engaged on tunnel work at Fordell, states that on the completion of that work it is anticipated that a start will be made on the Rimutaka tunnel.
