PRODUCTION IN CANADA. OTTAWA. The production of canned foods in Canada in 1936 had a value of 73,65 - -999 dollars compared with 61.735,270 dollars in 1935. The development in this field has shown remarkable expansion since the beginning of the twentieth century. In 1900 the total value did not exceed 8,250.000 dollars. The 193 G total included the following canned goods: Fruit and vegetable preparations, 47,337,397 dollars (38,276,487 dollars in 1935); fish, 16.705,722 dollars (14.454.027 dollars); condensed and evaporated milk, 8,507,866 dollars (8,142,184 dollars); meats, 1,101,014 dollars (862,572 dollars).
