The sanctuary is to consist of tidal flats at Farewell Spit, Nelson, and will contain land situated between high and low water marks in the vicinity of land already set aside for the preservation of fauna and flora. Elisabeth Bergner, now completing her fifth British film, “Stolen Life,’’ at Pinewood, has just learnt to do the Lambeth Walk, the latest English dance craze. The dance is introduced in a ballroom scene in the new picthunder ceased at once. “That's telling 'em,” Charlie gloated. Edgar and Charlie appear with Adolph Menjou, Andrea Leeds, and George Murphy in lure, and is performed by the star and Michael Redgrave, her leading man. Miss Bergner started to learn the Lambeth Walk before she and members of the “Stolen Life” unit left on a location trip to France. But she never finished her lessons. Members of the company tried to partner Miss Gergner, but none of them, including the star herself, knew the steps sufficiently well. Suddenly, a young English couple offered to teach them.
