CHURCH SERVICES

Special addresses for New Year's Day will be given at the Church of England services tomorrow. At 11 a m the vicar will speak on 1938, and at 7 p.m. on 1939. The Rev T. V. Pearson will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. At 2.30 p.m. a memorial service for the late Mrs J. Thompson will be held at Taueru. H. Skuse will speak on the subjects: “The Year Ahead” and “A Sure Foundation.”
