SOUTH ATLANTIC ROUTE. BRITISH SURVEY FLIGHT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, December 29. Surveying the proposed British South Atlantic air route, a British Airways Lockheed plane yesterday covered the distance from London to Lisbon in four hours 59 minutes at an average speed of 208 miles an hour.

The plane goes on to Agadir today and thence to Dakar, reaching Bathurst on .December 31.
