NEXT MONDAY’S ATTRACTION.

Piping, dancing, athletic, cycling and ambulance events figure in the programme at. the sixty-first annual gathering of the Wairarapa Caledonian Society. which is to be held on the Masterton Park Oval on Monday. January

This popular New Year gathering attracts entries from many parts of New Zealand and at the coming sports several of the leading pipers and dancers will be competing. Among the events io be decided are the North Island championship slow march (piping) and lhe North Island championship Highland Fling. Good prizes are offered for the various piping and dancing competitions. There will be a full range of running, cycle and field events in which keen rivalry is expected.

Late entries will be received until tomorrow. In the event of wet weather lhe dancing and piping events will be held in the Opera House.
